Inspector Detector (School-Based Program)

Inspector Detector (School-Based) Program: In partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools, the Inspector Detector program is an opportunity to teach first, second, and third graders about fire safety, and home escape plans, and to help create a meeting place outside the home, while focusing on ‘Get Out & Stay Out’. BCFD members will help young learners retain fire safety information with fun, engaging games, coloring books, and role-playing activities. An interactive post-assessment is given to help BCFD members identify children who are in homes without working smoke alarms, followed by an action plan to link families with life-saving resources.

Attention all Baltimore City Public Elementary Schools!

We are bringing fire safety & awareness to you! Sign up to have your students participate in the Inspector Detector program to help young learners understand fire safety. We designed this program for students enrolled in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade at a Baltimore City Public School.

Inspector Detector will help students understand 'Get Out & Stay Out', learn how to create a home escape plan, and participate in interactive demonstrations and fun & engaging fire safety activities.

At this time, slots for Inspector Detector are at capacity. Once we have openings, we will open the registration form.
